FAQ

What is Domain Privacy and why do I need it?

Domain Privacy is a service that replaces your personal contact information in the WHOIS database with privacy information, helping to protect your online presence and reduce spam and unwanted communication. You need it to keep your personal information secure and prevent it from being publicly accessible.

What is Domain Privacy and how does it differ from Domain Proxy?

Domain Privacy vs. Domain Proxy.

Domain Privacy Services – Privacy services allow a domain name holder (registrant) to be listed as the registrant of record but with alternate, valid contact information (such as a mail-forwarding service address) published in place of the registrant’s home address.

Domain Proxy Services – Proxy services allow a domain name to keep certain identity and contact details from appearing in public Whois information. The proxy service becomes the registered name holder of record, and its identity and contact information is displayed in Whois data.
